Capener Short Finger Splint — Dynamic PIP Support (XS–XL)

Dynamic coil-design finger splint that provides firm support to the PIP joint while leaving the DIP joint free for active movement. Ideal for managing PIP and DIP flexion contractures and can be used as a progressive splint after intensive use of the Capener Finger Splint Long (CAP/2).

• Shorter, stronger spring supports the PIP joint while permitting active DIP flexion
• Dynamic coil design for controlled extension and progressive correction
• Allows active DIP range-of-motion during therapy
• Commonly used in hand therapy and rehabilitation programs

Sizing — measure circumference at the PIP joint (cm):

• XS: 5 – 5.5 cm
• S: 5.5 – 6 cm
• M: 6 – 6.5 cm
• L: 6.5 – 7 cm
• XL: 7 – 7.5 cm

Use under the guidance of a clinician. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; dry thoroughly. Not recommended for use if skin is broken or compromised.
