Jelonet is a sterile paraffin-impregnated tulle gras dressing designed as a low-adherent wound contact layer. The open-weave gauze with interlocking threads allows exudate to pass freely into an absorbent secondary dressing while minimising fraying and trauma on removal.
Key benefits
- Low-adherence paraffin layer reduces pain and tissue disruption at dressing changes
- Open-weave construction permits efficient drainage into a secondary dressing
- Interlocking threads minimise fraying and maintain dressing integrity
- Sterile, single-use product for safe wound contact
Suitable for: wounds where a non-adherent contact layer is required, such as superficial burns, skin graft donor sites, sutured wounds and other exuding wounds that need to be covered with an absorbent secondary dressing.
Directions for use: Place Jelonet with the paraffin side against the wound. Do not pack deeply into cavities. Cover with an appropriate absorbent secondary dressing and secure. Replace according to clinical requirements.
