manoSPLINT 56L Heated Splinting Bath

The manoSPLINT 56L heated splinting bath heats water to soften thermoplastic splinting materials for moulding. This larger model accommodates bigger splint patterns and sheets than the 9L model. It is not a soaking or cleaning container for finished splints, casts or dressings.

The bath is thermostatically controlled and features a timer and automatic start. A low-water sensor stops heating if the water level drops too low.

The manoSPLINT material instructions specify hot-water softening at 60–72°C for 1–2 minutes, with a working time of 2–4 minutes. Follow the instructions for the specific thermoplastic material being used.
