CPR Insight technology analyses for a shockable rhythm during chest compressions. A metronome guides compression pace, while ClearVoice technology adjusts instruction volume to background noise. Escalating shock energy reaches up to 360J, and child mode provides lower energy levels without changing electrodes.

Wi-Fi connectivity supports device-status monitoring and remote management through LIFELINKcentral AED Program Manager. Listed connectivity features include use and servicing alerts, electrode and battery expiry notifications, and remote software updates.

The CR2 has an IP55 rating and an 8-year warranty. The supplier lists a 4-year standby battery life and electrode expiry of 4 years from manufacture.
